I just HAD to tell you.. I got my drains out today!! Wahoooooo.. those things do serve a purpose... but they are gross and freakish... ewwwwwwwwwww...
I am FREE, and only one week out of surgery...
Dr. R. says I will have continued pain for about 4-6 weeks, so he gave me more pain pills... I'll take 'em. LOL.. I am just so glad to get those drains out.
Pathology is still not back. They called again today to tell me they are still trying to "light" things up... who knows what that means. I figure the Lord rid me of the cancer, and the Doctors are trying to find in the cells now.. and can't :)

Hi Laura. I am glad you got your drains pulled finally. I never did have them as my surgeon preferred aspirtion...which he did in the office every couple of days and that hurt...I think the drains would have been better.Oh well, that is all in the past now.
Just take care of yourself and don't overdo it. Did they say when rads would start?

Hi Jill, Rads will probably start in about... say.... 4-5 weeks from today..
