I have a surgery date.
December 29th. So it will be after Christmas but in the safe time frame. Thank God!
I am going to work in the Salon from the 17th- 23rd. About 5 days in there... so if you want an appt. with me before Christmas, call on Friday, 12th. That is the day I will have my schedule at the salon.
If you already have an appt with one of the other girls... that is great too.. I will just see you there :)
I will be off again after Christmas until I finish all this cancer stuff up..
Take Care and I hope to see you in the Salon.. I will be the one with the Santa Hat on!!

Glad to hear you have your surgery date. I had a bilateral mastectomy 1 yr ago now and a little like you it was then that i felt that i had got rid of the cancer. I had my Surgery on the Thurs and had the drains out and was home on the Monday. I have my reconstruction on Monday so will be all drained up once again. AFter your surgery, take it easy and listen to the nurses. (listen to your body) The most important thing that i can say is keep up with the excersises they give you. Keep up the good fight

My best wishes in your upcoming surgery. Sounds like the worst is behind you. You are a strong person. I was lucky to have stage 1, lumpectomy and some nodes and then radiation. Congrats on winning the beautiful necklace. Wear it in good health.

Hi Laura.
I hope you are doing okay. Just remember to try to stay calm...I know it's easier said than done!
I have had 4 rad treatments now and so far so good. Thursday I see the oncologist as well to make sure all my white and red blood cells have gone back to normal. I am going to get another wig...hmmm. maybe something funky for the holidays.
Well Laura, make sure you take some time to rest when you go to work for those few days. Your body needs to rest! Oh and I was in and out of the hospital the same day when I had my mastectomy...and for the 2 surgeries I had prior to that.I found it much more restful and quiet in my own home and bed.
