Good evening!
Well, today I thought I could walk my 2 miles outside at the community center. I did it, then I went to buy a gift card for a relative. That is all I did.
I could barely hold my head up as I walked in the door two hours later. WOW! This is not like me. I was not tired, but now I see what they mean by fatigue. I suppose I have never felt this before, until Chemo. WOW. So I just laid on the couch.. could not move the body, and watched a movie praying no one would call...lol.
I got these huge red spots on my feet ( chemo)..
Two days ago the blisters started in my mouth. I got meds for that.
WOW... you would think that after being in Chemo almost 6 weeks, if I was gonna have side effects, they would have started at the beginning... WOW.
Oh well... The mouth sores are almost gone. I have lost about 8-10 pds...( and holding I promise !)
I am still not sick from chemo.. that is a plus!
Oh well, I suppose if it is doing all these weird things, it must be working ! They told me about all the possible side effects, and so far.. These are the only side effects I have had :
Hair Loss
fatigue
mouth sores
foot sores
minor bone pain
weight loss/little appetite
metal taste in mouth
Considering there are about 50 side effect of this "red devil" chemo I am on.. I AM SOOOO LUCKY!
I will be returning phone calls I did get today... tomorrow... Thank you for calling to check.. I think I got some of the questions you asked answered tonight on this post...
Over all... I am doing good!... Just three more months to go....
