Hello!
Todd and I just got back from Chemo.. Only 4 more to go!! Wahooooo...
I cannot believe I only have one more month to go.. seems like it has been forever.. but at the same time... saying the words.."4 more" seem short..
I do plan on working in the salon a little in Dec. I probably will not take appts. as I do not know "what days" I will be there. So for my customer's, I would say keep making your appts. with the girls you have been doing to, and if I am around that day. and you want me... just ask... :) The girls will be ok with that because December in the salon is so very busy..
I have a lot of tests I have to go to St. Luke's for that month and quite a few different Doctor appts to make that month.. so I probably will be in the salon to visit a lot, but I will probably only do hair about 8-10 days that month.. but BOY will it feel good.. I so miss the girls and my customer's. I cannot tell you!
I hope my grandkids are not sick on Halloween.. I cannot wait to see them "dressed for the occasion"...:)... Caleigh turns 1 in less than 2 weeks.. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT! I feel like I have missed so much of her 1st year.. DARN CANCER!

I hate the way it makes me look too. I look...well.. kinda run down all the time. I look tired when I am not, I look kinda gaunt in the eyes.. do to minimal eyelashes.. oh well... I feel better than I look.. I suppose it is time to pull out the fake eyelashes like the Hollywood gals..LOL...DARN CANCER!... I know it is the chemo taking its toll though.. not the cancer.. cancer is close to gone... the effects of chemo will stay with me a while after.. but it played its roll in saving my life. God allowed the docs to make the chemo an exact science today.. so we can be cancer survivors... NED.. not just " people in remission" anymore..for that I am thankful!

Hey, I have NOT had any signs of neropothy(sp)! WAHOOOOOO.. that is the side effect that could have jeopardized my career... God is merciful and kind.

Well, I think I will go warm up some din din for the men...you all have a blessed week and know I miss you all....

Gods Love,
Laura
Oh yeah, and I might have glasses the next time you see me in the salon.
Lets see... I get into my 40's.. "Life begins at 40" I am told....
Hmmmm...
The 40's
1. I see a little fat on my belly...
2. What is up with the bags under my eyes...
3. Is that a freakin' grey hair..
4. I get CANCER
5. I need glasses
6. To be continued....

I WANT MY 30's BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Hi Laura
It is so great to see someone with a sense of humor. lol.
I know this sucks big time and it has taken a piece of our life away but only temporarily and by the Spring we will be blooming again like the flowers do.
I hope you get to see the grands on Halloween, it's always fun to see them dressed up.
For us it is our 45th Anniversary on Sunday but because I am now in that darned infectious stage we will have it quite and maybe do a trip when this is all over.
Take Care and "Happy Halloween"!
Jill.
